Dear Attorneys,

It was recommended that my co-parent and I use Our Family Wizard to communicate about scheduling, expenses, etc. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but I found out that it costs money! It’s money that I just don’t have. Is it worth it? Do I have any other options? I definitely need something to help me keep track of everything.

Sincerely,

Frugally Co-parenting

Dear Frugal,

We at Wolf & Shore Law Group completely understand your situation. In fact, our own clients have had similar concerns. We researched suitable alternatives, and often recommend the program AppClose, which is now also frequently recommended by Family Relations offices in the courts as well. It’s an app for your phone, entirely free to you, and does a lot more than just keep track of communication with your co-parent. It tracks expenses, creates a budget, and has a secure third-party payment option to also keep track of support payments, or requests for expense contributions. AppClose, just like Our Family Wizard, also allows for attorney access so your law office can easily access any necessary information for your case.

We hope this helps, and we wish you the best of luck!

Very Truly Yours,

Wolf & Shore Law Group
