I have a custody order with my ex-girlfriend. We were never married, but have 2 children together. The current order says that we each get 2 non-consecutive weeks of vacation each summer. I don’t know if we can travel this summer. Can I do a staycation with my kids under this agreement?

If you want the short answer, it’s yes. You can absolutely do a staycation with your kids for the 2 non-consecutive weeks. In fact, that is likely the safest option right now. We recommend that you request your vacation time in a timely manner, and make sure it is in line with any stipulation that you have.
