Dear Attorneys,

The holidays are fast approaching, and I am worried about facilitating parenting time without a proper agreement in place. I heard that courts are closed dur to COVID-19. If that is the case, how am I supposed to be able to modify my parenting plan to add the holiday schedule that works for us?

Sincerely,

Unprepared Parent

Dear Unprepared,

We commend you for thinking ahead! It is much better to get the wheels turning on the holiday schedule now than wait until November. That said, it is a common misconception that courts are closed, but it is simply not true. The courts are back to business, and handling most of their cases virtually. Things may move a little slower than they used to, but you are still able to file your Motion to Modify and hopefully enter an agreement for a new holiday schedule.

Wolf & Shore Law Group will make the process easier for you, not harder.  Attorneys Kristen Wolf & Shari-Lynn Cuomo Shore will work tirelessly to help you outline a holiday schedule that works for you and your coparent. Plus, with over 20 years of combined experience, you will rest assured knowing that they are tenacious enough to protect your best interests, and compassionate enough to help you through this process with ease.
