HAMDEN ATTORNEY HONORED BY CBA

Shari-Lynn Shore to Receive Young Lawyers Section Vanguard Award

New Britain – The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is pleased to announce that Shari-Lynn Shore, of Wolf & Shore LLC in West Haven, is the 2017 recipient of the Young Lawyers Section Vanguard Award. The award is presented to a current or recent alum of the CBA Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Executive Committee who has made significant contributions to the CBA and YLS and assumed a leadership role without having served as an officer.

The award will be presented at the CBA’s annual “Celebrate with the Stars” awards celebration on April 13 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

Shore is a partner with the West Haven-based law firm of Wolf & Shore LLC where she focuses on family law. She is a 2008 graduate of Albany Law School. In addition to her work with Wolf & Shore LLC, Shore serves as assigned counsel for the Office of Chief Public Defender in Hartford, representing indigent clients in juvenile delinquency and child protection matters.

“Shari-Lynn Shore has distinguished herself as an emerging leader in the Connecticut legal community,” said Monte Frank, president of the CBA. “Her work with the Young Lawyers Section—as a non-officer—sets an example for others to follow and provides an important fresh voice to the goals of aspirations of both the YLS and the CBA.”

“Celebrate with the Stars” is dedicated to recognizing Connecticut’s top judges, lawyers, and professionals who make a difference through their work by demonstrating allegiance, dedication, conscientious service, commitment, and mentorship.
