April 14, 2017 is National Ex-Spouse Day. Some may scoff at the idea of a day to honor your ex-partner, but we’ve found there to be many reasons to appreciate them.

During a divorce, tension can be high, but it’s important for parents to work together when they are divorcing to help maintain a sense of normalcy for the children. The ultimate goal should always be to make it easier on them.

By appreciating and respecting your ex-spouse, co-parenting together will be much easier. Not being a couple doesn’t mean you can’t be a united front when raising your family.
